Garmin has announced new capabilities and enhanced operational benefits for King Air C90 aircraft as well as the availability of the new Platinum Plus upgrade package for the King Air 200/300 series, which according to Garmin, provides substantial savings on G1000 options.
A statement from Garmin explains the new King Air C90 update offers a number of new features and optional equipment upgrades, including NextGen components such as Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) compliance, user-defined holding patterns and the approval of optional equipment.
“We continue to make a series of investments to ensure King Air pilots have access to state of the art equipment and features on new and existing G1000-platforms, which decreases cost of ownership of the aircraft,” said Carl Wolf, Garmin’s vice president of aviation sales and marketing. “These key upgrades minimise pilot workload, improve situational awareness and expand operational benefits, giving owners and operators even more compelling reasons to upgrade to the G1000 Integrated Flight Deck.”
