With winter weather closing upon us, Henstridge Airfield is offering anyone who suffers from water-associated aircraft problems on farm or other grass strips, free tie down from November through to April.
Terry Vickery explained, “We regret we can’t offer hangarage, but our hard runway will enable you to fly when weather permits, rather than sitting staring aimlessly at the sky. We have 100LL and UL91, both at £1.82 per litre. Landing fees are £10 for singles and £5 for microlights; these will apply. Pick when you come, leave when you can go back, contact Geoff on email at ops (@) dipper.go-plus.net for any more information.
