Ultralight Concept's Stampe SV-4b microlight biplane, now part of JMB Aircraft

Belgium’s JMB Aircraft is renowned for its blazingly fast 200kt VL-3 but is now offering an aeroplane at the other end of the performance scale: the Stampe-Vertongen SV-4b produced as a modern microlight by Ultralight Concept.

JMB Aircraft has acquired 50% of Ultralight Concept, which dedicates itself to modernising classic aircraft.

The Stampe SV-4b microlight started its journey in 2007 when Ultralight Concept acquired the original plans of the SV-4b. By 2016, the full-scale SV4-RS had taken its first flight.

To comply with German airworthiness rules for microlights, Ultralight Concept reduced the aircraft’s empty weight from the original 560kg to an impressive 295kg. Since its first flight, around 100 SV4-RS aircraft have been sold.
