This year, GAPAN Young Members is offering five gliding scholarships to help successful applicants to achieve their British Gliding Association ‘A’ Certificate (First Solo).
The training will be carried out at a (BGA) approved Junior Gliding Centre between 1 July and 31 August 2013. Winners of the scholarships can fly at any one of the BGA Junior Gliding Centres in the UK. The Scholarship will cover direct training costs and BGA ’A’ certificate application and examination costs.
The deadline for applications is 13 March. You have to be at least 14 years old on 1 June, but you don’t have to be a member of GAPAN to apply.
