Liberty delivers to Japan

Liberty Aerospace, manufacturer of the Liberty XL2 aircraft, has delivered the first example of the type in Japan.

The delivery was to the company’s regional representative, who reports that the aircraft arrived in a shipping container, in pristine condition, and was reassembled and ready for flight in an incredibly short amount of time.

The Liberty (which is based on the Europa kitbuilt aircraft, designed by Briton Ivan Shaw) is designed in a modular fashion, to allow easy transportation and delivery around the world.
