Lightspeed Aviation launches Zulu PFX headset

Lightspeed Aviation has launched the Zulu PFX, its new ANR aviation headset at AirVenture Oshkosh.
According to Lightspeed, PFX (Personal Flying Experience) refers to a trio of proprietary innovations that allow the headset to ‘adapt to its user and the cockpit environment, creating customized ANR responses and a personalised audio profile’. These include acoustic response mapping, external ambient microphones and a variety of pilot audio preferences.
“Zulu PFX is the result of over two years of development and we are excited about the improvements we can offer pilots in their flying experience as a result,” said Allan Schrader, President of Lightspeed Aviation. “We look forward to sharing this with all of the attendees here at AirVenture this week, and in the months to come as more pilots have a chance to ‘get personal’ with Zulu PFX.”
