Well-known PPL groundschool instructor, Linda Wheeler, has launched her first video-based remote learning module, My Virtual Groundschool.

The video covers what you need to know to pass the PPL Navigation exam. It’s aimed at PPL students who have completed at least 15 hours of flight training.

Linda Wheeler said, “As an instructor and examiner with 10 years of training pilots in all aspects of theory, I am forever looking at new ways to help new pilots pass their PPL theory exams.

“Whilst many enjoy the group classes I run, others prefer self-study. But I realised there was a gap – for those who want the instructor experience but just can’t take a week out to train with me in person.

“With My Virtual Groundschool, you can train when it suits you, at a pace that suits you and you can repeat the lessons as often as you like.”

Linda has tested the module with learner pilots and believes that the simplified navigation course covers all you need to know to pass the exam in a three-hour video.

The video mimics a classroom environment with the course is broken down into nine sections. Pupils should be ready to pass the Navigation exam once they’ve completed the course and passed the mocks.

Further modules are planned later in 2023.

Linda Wheeler Groundschool was founded in 2015 and is based close to Denham Aerodrome.
