Mooney, currently exhibiting at the Airshow China Zhuhai, has announced two new models, the M10T and M10J. The M10T is a three-seat fixed gear composite aircraft powered by Continental’s 135hp diesel, while the M10T has retractable gear and the more powerful 2.0s Continental diesel.
According to Mooney the J model is aimed at flight schools, while the T will focus on the private owner market. Mooney has some ambitious performance goals for the M20T and is aiming for a 170kt+ cruise speed and a 1,000nm range.
