Diamond Aircraft Industries and Cheongju University from South Korea finalised a firm order for four single-engine DA40 NGs and one D-SIM-40 flight simulator for deliveries in 2013 with option for further expansions in 2014. These are the first aircraft of this type from Diamond Aircraft in Korea.
The University of Cheongju, the largest private university in South Korea, is acquiring the aircraft and simulators for a new branch of study at the division of aeronautics where students will be trained to obtain their Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with a bachelor’s degree. <a href=”http://www.diamondaircraft.com”>Click here for more</a>
