Robinson Helicopters 'sales growing stronger'

Robinson Helicopters has reported that 2010 marked a ‘year of transition.’ The reports states that while the first half of the year saw the company working to move an unsold inventory created by the unstable economy, by mid-year the inventory had gone and the company saw a surge in new sales. Production was then ramped up as orders increased steadily, most notably in the third and fourth quarters. By the end of the year, Robinson had accumulated a backlog of 169 new orders. Total production for the year was 162 aircraft, made up of 40 R22s, 112 R44s and 10 R66s. Click here for more
