Rotax builds 50,000th 912

At their 25th anniversary fly-in this weekend, Austrian engine manufacturer Rotax announced that it had built its 50,000th 912. The 912 family ranges from the 80hp lower compression variant to the latest 912iS Sport fuel injected version.

Rotax estimates that its fleet of engines has now clocked up 40,000,000 hours with a further 5,000,000 being added every year. <a href=”http://www.flyrotax.com”>Click here for more</a>
