Shoreham AIrport has announced that licensed grass runway 13/31 and unlicensed grass runway 02/20 will be made redundant and taken out of service “to substantially reduce the airport’s maintenance and running costs”.
Airport spokesman James Carnegie added, “The decision has been taken as the runways are used so rarely.”
