Skydrive presented something new in the form of a Eurostar fitted with the D-Motor, a manifold-injection, direct-drive, water-cooled engine. Nigel Beale explained that he hoped the engine, rated for 93hp, could be brought to market for a similar price to an 80hp Rotax 912. The Skydrive team will be working on the combination into next spring, but Nigel added that it will be a while before they can tell if it’s worth pursuing fully. Watch this space…
