Stapleford's new circuit pattern for twins

Stapleford has introduced a new circuit pattern for twin engine aircraft on 04 in an effort to ensure all pilots show consideration for people living in the vicinity of the airfield.
Head of Training, Colin Dobney, stressed the importance of observing noise abatement procedures by flying accurate circuit patterns in a recent newsletter. “I urge all pilots to read the Flying Order Book, now available on the Stapleford website. As weather conditions improve and the flying programme gets busier so irate neighbours and noise complaints will inevitably multiply. I would ask all flying members to re-familiarise themselves with the circuit patterns.”
These patterns have been formulated over the years by consultation with our neighbours and parish councillors, in an effort to be seen to contain the problem and minimise our noise footprint over residential areas. A diagram showing the circuit patterns has been added to the SFC web site and can be viewed here.. Should there be any queries from pilots using the circuits, please consult any flight instructor to clarify before next flight.
The Stapleford Flying Order Book also has been added to the SFC web site containing all the relevant orders for safe flight and includes a description of specific circuit requirements. The Flying Order Book can be viewed here.
