This year’s Stoke Golding Stakeout will take place on 9-10 August. The airfield is hosting a fly-in with food and refreshments both days. There’s also a Saturday evening party, live music, bar, hog roast and camping overnight. Tim Jinks, airfield manager at Stoke Golding, said “The airfield is a great place to fly to and the weekend event is a great excuse to enjoy real flying as it should be, last year seeing over 130 aircraft of every conceivable type and with the smell of freshly cut grass, freshly cooked bacon, the Saturday evening marquee party with the Irish band, hog roast and bar and of course the Traditional Jazz Band on Sunday. What more could you want?”
