Tannkosh team announces end of famous fly-in

The team behind the Tannkosh fly-in, Verena and Matthias Dolderer, have reluctantly decided to cancel the legendary fly-in in 2015. According to the team, the associated risks have become too large and no further fly-ins are planned in the future.
The most recent fly-in in 2013 saw an incident involving a departing biplane which crashed during takeoff-roll, colliding with parked aircraft. The crew was unharmed, although three bystanders suffered minor injuries.
Tannkosh was a hugely popular fly-in held at Tannheim, Germany, which at its peak attracted hundreds of private aircraft from all over Europe.
