Tecnam launches eleven-seat P2012 Traveller

Tecnam has announced the Tecnam P2012 Traveller, an eleven-seat twin to be powered by Lycoming engines. This aeroplane will be certified under both FAR part 23 and EASA CS-23.
The aeroplane will, according to Tecnam, ‘offer unbeatable value coupled with low operating costs, innovative design and Italian styling’. The market is though to be small airlines looking for a replacement for older aircraft currently in service. Lycoming has developed the 350hp TEO-540-A1A to power the P2012 Traveller. Tecnam P2012 Traveller operators will have the option of utilising both mogas and avgas, enabling the Tecnam P2012 Traveller to provide air services to as many locations as possible.
The Tecnam P2012 Traveller will be revealed publicly during Aero 2011 at Friedrichshafen on Wednesday 13 April, 2011. Click here for more
