Tecnam has announced its second P2010 achieved a faultless first flight on 17 February 2014.
According to Tecnam, the aircraft lifted off in less than 400mt and aimed to 5000ft at more than 900ft/min.
The second P2010 has a new cockpit layout. It is equipped with a Garmin G1000 suite and G700 autopilot, electric pitch trim and provision for night VFR and IFR flight profiles. The scope of this second aircraft is to enable completion of certification trials in the VFR N and IFR environment.
