AEROS has today announced the order of its first Tecnam P2006T twin. The Professional FTO has bases at Bristol-Filton, Cardiff, Coventry, Gloucester and Wellesbourne. In addition to today’s order the company has placed an option on a further four airframes. Tom Dunn, AEROS’ CEO said “The purchase of the Tecnam P2006T Next-Generation twin by AEROS represents a substantial investment in our future and will accelerate the significant progress we are making in expanding and modernising our Flight Training offering…We see the P2006T Next-Generation twin as a real game changer. A twin for the price of a single, that burns significantly less fuel than many singles, yet offers the improved performance and safety of a second power plant, will enable us to offer a modern high performance twin trainer both for aspiring commercial pilots and for pilots wanting a new (or to renew a) multi-engine piston rating, all with flying at prices similar to many single engine aeroplanes”
