Applications are now being invited for the Amy Johnson Memorial Trust, which is offering a £2,000 scholarship to assist British women pilots with their training.
The trust is available to women PPL holders wishing to obtain a CPL/ATPL, holders of CPL/ATPLs working towards an Instructor Rating, multi-engine rating, instrument rating or CRM/MCC rating, and candidates undertaking an approved professional training course.
Candidates must be a British citizen by birth and reside permanently in the UK.
Application forms are available from Mrs M E Tucker, 12 Church Lane, Merton Park, London SW19 3PD. Enclose a stamped, addressed envelope, C5 size. The closing dates for applications is 28 February, 2011.
