Epic Aircraft announces company-wide hiring

Epic Aircraft, Oregon-based manufacturer of high performance, carbon fibre, single-engine turboprop aircraft, has announced plans to hire over two dozen new employees in coming weeks to support FAA certification of its Epic E1000 model (pictured) by mid-year 2015.
“We want to recruit talented, experienced, motivated individuals who are looking for an
aviation career – not just a job,” said Doug King, Epic CEO. “This is a company-wide effort to address staffing needs across multiple departments, including manufacturing, design, engineering, purchasing, quality assurance, and administration.”
King described the hire as an “exciting new era” for the company.
The soon-to-be-certified aircraft, known as the Epic E1000, is described by the company as an affordable, six-place, single-engine turboprop. Reservations for the E1000 are currently being taken at an introductory price of $2,750,000. Initial aircraft deliveries are targeted for second half 2015.
