P51C Mustang Thunderbird
One of the stars of the show is this P-51C Mustang - called Thunderbird, it was owned by Hollywood actor Jimmy Stewart and record-setting pilot Jacqueline Cochran.

This Cessna 180 had been sitting rotting for 40 years when Arcus Aero brought it back to life. Stunning restomod!

NASA has brought along its Super Guppy.
Ascender
This unusual looking bush plane, the Ascender has stunning visibility from its four-seat cabin. It's powered by a 210hp Lycoming IO-390.

DeltaHawk
The first DeltaHawk DHK180 engine is due to be delivered early in 2024. It received FAA certification last April and DeltaHawk is pursuing EASA certification under a bilateral agreement. DeltaHawk also announced an agreement to supply Bearhawk.
Van's RV-15
It's been a year since the public debut of the Engineering Prototype of the Van's Aircraft RV-15. There's lot's of changes in the works for the design…we should have an update a video in future.
Dynon D30
Dynon have added the new D30 Touchscreen Electronic Flight Display to its Dynon Certified product line. The D30 is designed to serve as a backup set of flight instruments in STC’d SkyView HDX systems.

Beechcraft Denali
Textron Aviation picked AirVenture for the first showing for the Beechcraft Denali single-engine turbine. Across the way, directly facing it, was its main rival, the Pilatus PC-12.
A Lockheed U2 made a surprise appearance during the airshow.

EAA 70 years
It's the Experimental Aircraft Association's 70th Anniversary this year!
Midget Mustang
Gorgeous Midget Mustang - the type is 75 years old this year.

Waco 9
Walt Bowe's beautiful Curtiss OX-5 powered Waco 9 has just been restored. WIth no brakes and a tailskid, you need plenty of friends to wrangle it into place.
Volt Aero
Volt Aero's Cassio 330 demo unit. It'll be powered by hybrid propulsion including a Kawasaki hydrogen burning engine.
