Found Aircraft has announced that it has received Canadian certification for the Expedition E350. The Expedition is a five-place single-engine aircraft designed, as Drew Hamblin, Director of Marketing and Sales put it, “to be the true meaning of a flying SUV and the undisputed heavy-hauler in its class.”

It is claimed that the Expedition is arguably the “most versatile piston aircraft in the world,” with enviable STOL (short take-off and landing) performance and rugged landing gear meaning that it can use short unprepared strips.

The E350 is also available with floats, and the company is in the final stages of certifying the Expedition E350XC, a taildragger version of the aeroplane.

Found Aircraft, which has a history going back to the 1940s, had previously manufactured the Bush Hawk-XP.
