Investigators working around the site where Steve Fossett’s aircraft was found say that they have found ‘large’ human bones in the vicinity, as well as Fossett’s driving licence and his shoes. Both are said to show signs of bite marks, adding weight to the theory that the adventurer’s body may have been taken from the aircraft by animals.
The bones have been sent for DNA testing, and the results are expected with a week.
Smaller bones found on the site earlier were found not to be human.
