Manx Aero Club ends operations at Ronaldsway

Manx Flyers Aero Club, based at Ronaldsway Airport on Isle of Man, has announced the closure of Manx Flyers Flying Training and Aircraft Handling operations at Ronaldsway.
A statement on the website confirmed, ‘In the current economic climate the Directors are unable to find a way to make the company commercially viable, due to the lack of demand for flying training and light aircraft handling.
‘We would like to thank all of our members and friends who have supported us in the past, and hope that some of them may be able to transfer their flying to Ravenair at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. If you have any questions, including any which are account related, please use the following email address [email protected]
Originally, the company suspended all flying and handling activities from the end of September 2012 until the beginning of April 2013.
