New name for Old Buck Military Revival

Old Buckenham Airfield has announced that the popular Military Revival, one of the largest military shows in the UK, will return in 2015 on the 3rd and 4th October. The show will effectively double with the addition of an ambitious new Vintage festival and will now be known as Military & Vintage Revival.
Popular elements of the show, such as the acres of detailed period displays in the Living History field and vehicle demonstration arena will remain. The military display will be added to with a new arena, dedicated to
mock battles, period demonstrations and parades. The most significant change is the addition of an entire area, several acres in size, dedicated to everything Vintage.
One of the highlights of the first two Military Revivals has been Saturday night’s 1940s Hangar Dance which will return in 2015.
Advanced tickets will go on sale in March, but booking for Vintage & Military show participants opened on 5 January.
Matt Wilkins, show organiser; “We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback from military enthusiasts over the first two Military Revivals. It became clear that we needed to add to the show in order to appeal to a wider audience, and a vintage event is the obvious choice. The co-operation with Cherry Betty will ensure that the show truly offers something for everyone in 2015 and we’re looking forward to revealing more exciting developments in the coming months.”
Military & Vintage Revival will take place on the 3rd and 4th October 2015. Booking for participants is open now at militaryrevival.com.
