At last year’s AERO, it would have been easy to dismiss Trixy Aviation’s plans for its electric-powered motorbike that can be docked into separate gyrocopters, aeroplane or helicopter modules to create a unique multi-format transport system.
But perhaps somewhat surprisingly, Trixy has enjoyed some progress with the project, with the gyrocopter and electric motorbike combination being produced in prototype format and even flying, with plans, so we’re told, for the aeroplane and helicopters options to be ready to go by the end of this year. Sadly the man behind the designs, Rainer Farrag, couldn’t make it to AERO this year – he’d broken his leg testing the gyro prototype just before the show started…
