When FLYER magazine fiight tested the Dynamic microlight (December 2006), we loved it. So it’s good news that the type has been given CAA approval for a 100 hp version, to be powered by the Rotax 912 ULS.
Yeoman Light AIrcraft Company, which imports the Dynamic, claims that this makes the Dynamic the fastest microlight in the world, and also makes it faster than many GA types such as the PA-28 or Cessna 172.
The Dynamic was first produced in 2000; it was type approved in the UK (in its 80 hp version) in March 2007. There are currently 12 UK variant Dynamics, with a further 15 on order. Last month, FlyCB flight training school at Oxford Airport announced that it would be training on the Dynamic.
