AERO Friedrichshafen cancels

AERO Friedrichshafen has been cancelled for 2021.

The event, the biggest GA show in Europe, was moved from April to July but now the organisers have decided it’s not possible to go ahead because of travel restrictions across Europe.

Head of AERO Roland Bosch and project manager Tobias Bretzel said, “It is with a heavy heart that we have made this decision to cancel the leading trade show for General Aviation for the second time.

“However, a decision at this point in time is right and fair. We are now creating planning certainty for our exhibitors, visitors and suppliers. The current pandemic situation does not allow us to hold a trade show at the moment.

“However, we are looking ahead to the European Rotors trade show, which will be held in Cologne from 16-18 November 2021, and also to AERO 2022 from 27-30 April 2022 where we will welcome exhibitors and visitors back to Friedrichshafen.”

AERO Friedrichshafen will also be producing digital content on a regular basis outside of the classic trade show period.

“In this way, we will maintain contact with our exhibitors, visitors and all networks until the trade show date in April 2022 and share the fascination of aviation with the industry all year round,” said Tobias Bretzel.
