Aeros Flight Training has expanded its leadership team with a series of key appointments to enhance the student experience and strengthen operations across its UK bases.
Heading up the changes is Sarah Champneys, who joins as Head of Sales and Marketing. It’s a new role that will shape how the academy connects with prospective pilots, partners and the wider aviation community. Sarah brings extensive experience in aviation and commercial marketing, with a focus on building high-performing, student-centred teams.
Also joining the team is Sophie Smith, appointed Training Advisor. Having previously worked in Aeros operations, Sophie will now guide future students through their training journey, from first enquiry to first solo.
In operations, Kim Bennett steps into an expanded role as Senior Operations Manager, overseeing both the operations and student support teams, while Tom Hay takes on the role of Maintenance Base Manager, leading the upkeep of Aeros’ training fleet and supporting a growing number of customer aircraft.
“Aeros is investing in people who understand what our students need to succeed,” said Nick Dunn, CEO of Aeros Flight Training.
“These appointments reflect our ongoing commitment to strengthening the business and providing the best possible environment for future pilots.”
With bases at Cardiff, Gloucester, Leeds and Wellesbourne, Aeros is one of the UK’s longest-established modular flight training academies, known for its flexible, pay-as-you-learn approach to both UK CAA and EASA licences.
