Tecnam’s P2006T NG is a staple of professional flight training when student pilots move into the Multi Engine Piston (MEP) stage – and now there’s a new simulator from Alsim to aid the training.
Alsim’s brand new AL2006 simulator is specifically designed to replicate the Tecnam P2006T NG aircraft.
It’s designed to EASA FNPT II and FTD Level 5 standards and has a full-size replica of the flight deck plus a semi-enclosed instructor station. Other key features include active control loading and a specific flight model based on aircraft flight characteristics.

For maximum realism, the AL2006 is equipped with an immersive visual system featuring three high-definition laser projectors, enhanced by a vibration cueing system.
The sim includes the original Garmin G1000 NXi and GFC 700 autopilot, ensuring an authentic experience that closely replicates the real aircraft’s cockpit environment.
Jean-Paul Monnin, president of French company Alsim, said, “This new simulator complements our growing range of aircraft-specific devices, following the successful launches of the ALSR G7 (replicating the Cirrus SR Series G7) and AL100i (replicating the Piper Pilot 100i) earlier this year
Several flight schools, including Professional Aviation of Italy and Poland’s Smart Aviation have already chosen to integrate the AL2006 into their training.
