Battersea gets new owner

The London Heliport, situated at Battersea, has a new operator. The site – which has been the subject of some well-publicised <a href=’http://www.flyer.co.uk/news/newsfeed.php?artnum=317′ target=’_blank’>noise complaints</a> – will now be operated by PremiAir. The contract was awarded by von Essen Hotels, who acquired the freehold site from Weston plc.

The new operators are aiming to use a new luxury hotel next to the heliport as a terminal and reception.
