French wheel and brake specialist Beringer Aero has marked its 40th anniversary with a celebration at its headquarters in Tallard, southern France.
The event featured guided tours of Beringer’s manufacturing facilities, local food and live music and an aerobatic display by French pilot Mikaël Brageot, a European champion and Red Bull Air Race competitor.
CEO Claire Beringer said, “Innovation has always been at the heart of everything we do — not just for performance, but for safety. What we’re celebrating is not just our story, but the story of everyone who helped write it.”
Founded in 1985, BERINGER AERO originally produced wheels and brakes for high-performance motorcycles and cars before moving into aviation in 2002. Today, its systems equip a wide range of aircraft — from the Cirrus SR22 to the Pilatus PC-6 — and are recognised for innovations such as tubeless wheels, the ALIR® anti-skid system, and B’Flex landing gear.
