British Airways opens applications to paid-for pilot training

British Airways will open the applications window for fully-sponsored places on this year’s Speedbird Pilot Academy on 16 April.

Leading up to the launch, BA has launched a series of webinars and preparation material to help candidates apply for this year’s fully sponsored Speedbird Pilot Academy,

“We will shortly be launching the second year of the academy programme, and in doing so, removing the financial barrier to becoming an airline pilot,” said a BA statement. “Anyone aged 18-55 with 6 GCSEs (grade 5 or above) will have the chance to become an airline pilot at British Airways.”
