The British Women Pilots’ Association (BWPA) has announced the launch of its 2023 aviation scholarships.
Open to women of any age and background, and for any type of flying, this year, the BWPA are funding eight scholarships, each worth £2,000.
Three additional scholarships will be funded by SkyDemon, and one by the LAA, with further partners being sought.
Previous winners have used their BWPA scholarships to gain their first qualifications, build on existing qualifications, or to help achieve a first paid flying job.
The awards will open for applications in early September and applicants must be BWPA members.
