Cirrus Design, manufacturer of the ground-breaking SR range of composite aircraft, has received ODAR – Organisation Designated Airworthiness Representative – status from the FAA.
This means that the company will be able to designate, train and oversee employees who will deal with airworthiness matters on behalf of the FAA. This will give the company much greater flexibility when it comes to airworthiness approvals and, according to the company, will allow it to develop its products more quickly and efficiently.
