Cirrus updates SF50 jet progress

Cirrus Aircraft has provided an update on its SF50 Jet at Aero Friedrichshafen.
Although the V1 airframe has been flying for a while, the company recently flew airframe C0 (C Zero) for the first time, which is its conforming aerodynamic prototype. This is also the airframe that will ultimately be used to test the CAPS parachute deployment, which will be mounted in the nose of the new aircraft. Three conforming aircraft will be built for the certification programme, with C1 and C2 due to be in operation by the end of 2014, followed by customer deliveries starting towards the end of 2015.
