Dynon Avionics has launched a bigger version of its flagship SkyView HDX display, the SV-HDX1200 with a 12 inch display.
In addition, the US company has also expanded the use of its Advanced Control Module for use by homebuilders and owners of Permit aircraft. It’s said to speed up the installation of avionics system by ‘hundreds of hours’.
Both products were launched at this week’s Sun ‘n Fun fly-in in Florida, and will also be at next week’s AERO Friedrichshafen. FLYER will be reporting live from AERO so we’ll be sure to take a look at Dynon’s latest.
Dynon said, “The new SV-HDX1200 12in display features the largest high-resolution, sunlight-readable screen ever offered by Dynon: perfect for the brightest cockpits and the most ‘experienced’ eyes.
“Additionally, the SV-HDX1200 maintains full compatibility with all existing Dynon SkyView modules, harnesses, and accessories, and can be mixed and matched in a panel with 10in SV-HDX1100 and 7in SV-HDX800 displays.
“The Dynon SV-HDX1200 display is available for pre-order now for experimental and light sport customers, with a list price of $5490. Shipments are expected to begin in May 2024.
