Enniskillen to hold 10th Anniversary Fly-in

Enniskillen

Enniskillen Airport has announced a Fly-in to celebrate 10 years under the management of Enniskillen Airport Ltd, since the the airfield was closed in 2003 by the local council.
The Fly-in will take place on Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June 2014.
Alan Cathcart, Managing Director at Enniskillen Airport Ltd, explained, “It’s great to be able to celebrate 10 years, particularly when we’re bucking the trend with a number of airfields under threat at the moment, we’re thrilled to have come back from the closure and be a successful airfield. We have two flying schools now and we’ve had five hangers constructed since the reopening. We also were awarded Airfield of the Year in 2006 – there’s plenty to celebrate.”
More details on the fly-in will be available in due course at the airfield’s recently revamped website www.enniskillen-airport.co.uk/Home_Page.html
