Cirrus Aircraft has unveiled its 2026 SR Series G7+ line-up, introducing a range of updates across the SR20, SR22 and SR22T aimed at improving connectivity, cockpit usability and ownership experience.
The new model year brings incremental but wide-ranging changes rather than a wholesale redesign, with Cirrus continuing its steady evolution of what remains the world’s best-selling high-performance single-engine piston aircraft.
All 2026 SR Series aircraft receive the latest G7+ generational features as standard. These include Safe Return™ Emergency Autoland, automatic database updates via Cirrus IQ PRO Advanced™, Runway Occupancy Awareness and Smart Pitot Heat.

Cirrus continues to add features to its Perspective Touch flightdeck
One of the more practical updates is expanded connectivity. Cirrus has enhanced its Cirrus Global Connect system, offering broader global weather coverage with automatic updates every five minutes along the aircraft’s route. Weather products now include storm cell movement, turbulence, icing and surface visibility data, with the aim of reducing cockpit workload.
Cabin power has also been upgraded, with high-output USB-C ports now standard for every occupant. The front cabin features two 60W USB-C ports, while the rear seats gain two 100W ports, capable of powering larger devices. Cirrus says the system is designed to support high-demand equipment such as satellite communications hardware, including Starlink installations where fitted.
For the first time, the normally aspirated SR22 gains an optional four-blade composite propeller, following the lead of the turbocharged SR22T. The three-blade composite propeller remains standard, but the new option gives owners an additional choice, with Cirrus suggesting benefits in both aesthetics and ramp presence.
Cirrus continues to refine its Perspective Touch+™ avionics suite, with software improvements focused on situational awareness and workload reduction. Visual approach guidance has been enhanced, allowing pilots to select different traffic pattern entries displayed directly on the moving map, with the option to couple these to the autopilot.
The system also now supports up to nine named display presets, allowing pilots to quickly switch between preferred screen layouts for different phases of flight.
Externally, the 2026 SR Series introduces new Carbon and Platinum paint collections, featuring revised striping and branding themes. Three new exterior colours — Tangerine, Maldives and Viridian — have also been added, drawing inspiration from Cirrus’ lifestyle-focused marketing approach.
