1940s Themed Celebration of Aviation, featuring vintage/classic aerobatic competition, visiting aircraft, static aero engines, military vehicles, brass band, car/motorcycle clubs, period dress, evening hangar party with live music, run by The Real Aeroplane Club

Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA

Sunday 30 July
Lundy Island
Lundy lies off the coast of North Devon, where the Atlantic ocean meets the Bristol Channel with nothing between it and America. It’s a granite outcrop, three miles long and half a mile wide. Suitable for certain types or aircraft – and skills! The fly-in is organised by Cornwall Flying Club

Saturday 19 August
Shuttleworth, Old Warden, near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire
A full symphony orchestra, accompanied by an elegantly choreographed air display, plus the unique climax of a firework display and airborne pyrotechnics to music. See the full schedule and buy tickets here

Popham Airfield (tbc)
The Light Aircraft Association (LAA) has yet to confirm whether it will again stage the LAA Grass Roots Fly-in at Popham but the 2022 event was a definite success. Let’s hope so!
