Flight Design hits the 200 mark

German manufacturer Flight Design has ended 2006 strongly, with the final figures for the year reaching 225. This matches the predictions made by the company in April, and makes it one of the world’s leading light sport/very light aircraft manufacturers.

Flight Design is the maker of the CT range of aircraft.

Over 100 of the aircraft are expected to have been delivered into the US, where they fall into the LSA (Light Sport Aircraft) category. The aircraft are manufactured in the Ukraine.
