FLY Silverstone postponed for 2007

We have just spoken to Clarion Events, who have confirmed that the FLY Silverstone event has been postponed for this year.

They are making no further statement at the moment.

The show, which was to have been the successor to the Earls Court event FLY The London Airshow, was to have taken place at the racing circuit during July. It had been hoped that it would be possible to open the runway during the event for pre-booked arrivals.

This postponement, and the previous decision not to hold a central PFA Rally this year, leaves just one major national GA exhibition in 2007 – Aero Expo at Wycombe.
