Helicentre Aviation Academy has announced the launch of its 2027 Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL(H)) Scholarship, marking the 15th year of the programme.
The scholarship, valued at £65,000, will fully fund post-PPL(H) hour building, ATPL(H) theoretical knowledge training and a complete modular CPL(H) course. Training will include up to around 150 hours of flight time on the Guimbal Cabri G2.
Chairman Chris Line said the initiative continues to support pilot career progression while addressing strong demand for helicopter pilots, particularly for onshore operations. He added that some graduates go on to roles within Helicentre, including charter and utility flying.
