One of the world’s top professional pilot training companies, L3Harris Commercial Aviation Solutions, has relaunched itself under a new name: Acron Aviation.
The new name is adapted from the Greek word Akron which means peak or highest point and is said to symbolise the ambition and mission that the company has for the future.
Acron Aviation has locations in the UK, US, Thailand and India, offering products across avionics, airline training – including pilot training – and flight data intelligence.
Alan Crawford, Chief Executive Officer of Acron Aviation said, “Since our inception, we’ve been at the forefront of aviation excellence, from pioneering the first flight simulator in the 1920s to delivering top-tier avionics technology.
