Lift Aircraft launches eVTOL pay-per-flight experience

+VIDEO Lift Aircraft is offering customer flights in its electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing single-seater this Spring and Summer.

The Lift Aircraft eVTOL known as ‘Hexa’ will go on a US tour starting with the Sun ‘n Fun fly-in and expo in April.

The company’s mobile location will be operating at Lakeland Linder Airport, home of Sun ‘n Fun. LIFT will be flying in air shows and allowing customers to fly. Customer flights will continue in Austin, Texas in May, with further expansion into additional cities to be announced in the near future.

The pay-per-flights will involve comprehensive ground training, allowing customers to familiarise themselves with the aircraft and its controls before flying the aircraft in a virtual reality flight simulator.

Once trained, participants will pilot Hexa themselves, under the guidance of experienced flight instructors. No pilot’s licence is required.

Flights can be booked through the company’s mobile app or directly through the company’s website.
