Lundy closed temporarily

If you were thinking of popping to Lundy in the near future, then you might want to make other plans. The island, with its short and challenging strip, is closed to all visitors (by air and sea) until at least October 4th.

The Landmark Trust which manages Lundy took the unusual step to try to eliminate a virus that is sweeping the island causing severe bouts of vomiting and diarrhoea.
