Cranfield-based Patriot Aviation has acquired CSE Aircraft Sales. CSE and its sales team have already relocated to the Patriot UK headquarters.
Patriot already holds the Bell Helicopter distributorship for the UK and Northern Ireland, and says that the Cessna and Bell brands work well together – they are both Textron companies.
Patriot’s chairman, leading entrepreneur Sir Peter Rigby, said: “We are delighted to represent Cessna in the UK around its superb range of single engine aircraft, including the new high speed 350 / 400 models. We have already placed orders with Cessna for some 40 aircraft to the value of $27 million, to keep customer lead times on new aircraft at a minimum”.
Sir Peter is a fixed wing and helicopter pilot.
