Pilot Careers Live will move to a new Manchester venue for its next event, PCL North, staged on 11 July 2026. Show organisers have confirmed The Sheridan as the event’s new home.
Located close to Manchester city centre, The Sheridan offers one of the North West’s largest single event spaces, with capacity for more than 1,000 visitors, free parking for 300 vehicles and easy access by road, rail and tram. Organisers say the larger venue will provide more flexibility for exhibitors, presentations and networking opportunities.
Meet airline recruiters face to face
The Sheridan management added, “The Sheridan is a hidden gem for exhibitions, with elite event facilities, including on-site audio-visual equipment, staging and tech.
“Our vast dimensions and sub-divisibility options offer scope for exhibitions that few other conference venues in Manchester share. As a result, we’re able to host an eclectic mix of Association, corporate and consumer exhibitions throughout the year.”
Speaker line-up for Pilot Careers Live North is shaping up
The speaker line-up for Pilot Careers Live North is also beginning to take shape. There are confirmed appearances from Ryanair, Emerald Airlines, Jet2, easyJet and Loganair.
Ryanair Assistant Pilot Recruitment Manager Jake McComish will present a session on the airline’s Future Flyer Academy and pathways to the Ryanair flight deck, while Emerald Airlines Captain George Hunter will discuss career progression from First Officer to Captain.
Among the exhibitors and airline brands expected to attract the most attention are easyJet, Jet2 and Ryanair, reflecting continued strong interest in airline recruitment and cadet pathways across the sector.
