Every year, Sporty’s Pilot Shop in the US, in conjunction with AOPA, gives away a brand new ‘airplane’ – a Cessna Skyhawk SP equipped with the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit.
This year’s winner is Bob Meadows from Georgia. He’s a commercial pilot with an instrument rating. He lives at Pinewood Airport, a private airport with a 2000-foot grass strip. The winning customer order number was selected using lottery-style numbered balls.
